Day 01

Arrive – Manali – Local Sightseeing in Manali

Arrive at Manali bus stand Pick up and transfer to Hotel. After fresh up proceed for local sightseeing of Manali “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Day 02

Manali – Jispa 138 Kms 05 – 06Hrs drive (Approx)

After a delicious breakfast at hotel drive to Jispa via Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages in Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and confluence of Chandra &Bhaga rivers at Tandi. This route would provide you views of mountains, several streams/ waterfalls and hanging glaciers. After a short stop at Keylong is accessed from Manali It is located at an altitude of 3,080 m (10,100 ft) and cut off from the outside world from October-end to mid-May due to heavy snowfall at Rohtang Pass continue drive to Jispa Jispa is a village in Lahaul, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Jispa is located 20 km north of Keylong and 7 km south of Darcha, along the Manali-Leh Highway and the Bhaga River.

Day 03

Jispa - Leh 336 Kms 10 – 12 Hrs drive (Approx)

After a delicious breakfast at hotel when you leave from Jispa drive to Sarchu (4253m) drive through Dacha, Patsao, Zingzing Bar and over Barlacha-La (4892m) pass, which is one of the most dangerous pass among other passes on the way to Leh. And one can see excellent panoramic views of the high rising sky touching mountains is likely C.B., K.R. (range) and Mulkilla mushrooming mountains massif. And also just on the top of Baralacha- La is having a lake Suraj Tal a source of two major rivers Chandra &Bhaga surrounded by C.B. mountain ranges and gradual descent down through Kalungsarai to Sarchu. Continue drive to Pang drive through two high passes are known as Lachalang-La and second one just above the Brandy Bridge and cross Moorie plains and arrive at Tanglangla Pass (5400 M) and enter in Leh Valley. Your further drive will take you to Upshi by crossing river Indus and follow the highway up to Leh. Continue drive to Leh. Arrive Leh and check – in at hotel.

Day 04

Leh – Full day Local Sightseeing – Leh (Excursion)

After delicious breakfast at yourcamp leave for day excursion to enjoy a comfortable

3 Idiots School: The school was featured in a 2007 episode as the Aamir Khan movie 3 Idiots. The school, where some parts of the 3-Idiots film was shot, is supported by international donors as well as Indian celebrities like actor Ameer Khan.

Shey Palacethe former summer palace of the King of Ladakh and erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction.

Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are several temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.

Stok Palace Museum:Where the present day royal family resides. Stok Palace and museum was built in the year 1825, by King Tespal Tondup Namgyal. At present the place has a collection of royal dresses and crown etc. which is open for travelers. Drive back to Leh.

Day 05

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla Top

After delicious breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley (125 kms) via Khardungla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as the highest motorable pass of the world.

Once you arrive at Khalsar drive on the left towards Diskit & Hunder Village. Check in at your camp/Hotel. Drive to Hunder Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari (OPTIONAL) on the shabby double -humped Bactrian camels.

Hunder is a small village where the Shyok River meets Nubra River. Hunder lies on the ancient silk rout. Hunder is most popular for the camel rides.

Day 06

Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok

After delicious breakfast at yourcamp drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok.This direct route from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso has now become more popular in past few years. Drive from Nubra to Pangong via Agham – Shyok drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water, 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China. Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings

Day 07

Pangong Lake – Tsomoriri Lake

After delicious breakfast at your camp drive to Tsomoriri Lake which is around 235 Kms via Chushul Route. From Spangmik, drive on right next to the lake. It is an awesome and a very scenic drive. Cross the village of Man and continue towards Merak. Continue towards Khaltse and from there to Chushul. At Chushul, you can take a quick break and visit the Chushul War Memorial, dedicated to the heroes who lost their lives in battle with China. From Chushul, head towards the high altitude pass of Tsaga La, also known as Chagga La. Today will cross 3 high altitude passes.

Day 08

Tsomoriri - Tsokar

After delicious breakfast drive to route down to PugaSumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species.

Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel/Camp in Tsokar. 

Day 09

Tsokar – Sarchu

After delicious breakfast take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglangla (alt: 17,585ft) en- route.

Sarchu– Manali Drop; End of Tour
