Day 01

Arrival Leh - Shanti Stupa & Market

On arrival at KushokBakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), meet and greet by our Rep and you will be transferred to hotel. Leh Flight is considered one of the most sensational flights in the world. During the day, acclimatize yourself with the weather and high pressure of Ladakh.

Evening visit toShanti Stupa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist BhikshuGyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh. In the evening, take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh.

Day 02

Leh - Monastery Tour - Leh (Excursion)

After breakfast visit the famous monasteries of Ladakh. 

Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh and erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction.

Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are several temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.

Stok Palace Museum: Where the present day royal family resides. Stok Palace and museum was built in the year 1825, by King TespalTondupNamgyal. At present the place has a collection of royal dresses and crown etc. which is open for travelers.

Day 03

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla Top

After delicious breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley (125 kms) via Khardungla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as the highest motorable pass of the world. Once you arrive at Khalsar drive on the left towards Diskit Visit Statue of Mytriya Buddha in Diskit. Close to the Monastery lies an impressive statue of Jampa Buddha. This Statue has become one of the prime attractions for tourists and is deeply appreciated for its architecture. Facing the Shyok River, the statue sits tall with a height of 32 meters. Check in at your camp/Hotel in Hunder. Drive to Hunder Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari (OPTIONAL) on the shabby double – humped Bactrian camels. Hunder is a small village where the Shyok River meets Nubra River. Hunder lies on the ancient silk rout. Hunder is most popular for the camel rides.

Day 04

In Nubra Valley – Panamik Hot Springs – Sumoor

After delicious breakfast drive from Hunder to Panamik Hot Springs Also visit beautiful Yarabtso Lake, also referred to as the hidden lake. This crystal clear lake is bounded by barren yet beautiful surroundings. Drive towards Panamik Hot Springs which are rich in Sulphur contents & believed to have medicinal benefits. Later return to Sumoor with lovely homes and tree-lined avenues. The name Sumoor means ‘ three rivers ‘ and probably refers to the nearby confluence of the Shyok and Nubra. The village is famous for the SamstanglingGompa, the largest monastery of Nubra, which houses about 100 monks. It was founded in 1800 and the main building houses several temples.

Day 05

Nubra Valley - Leh

After delicious breakfast drive to Leh via Khardungla Pass. Half day for rest or shopping.

Day 06

Leh – Spituk – Phyang – Magnetic Hill -Sangam - Likir- Uletokpo

After breakfast your day will begin with Spituk Monastery and Phyang monastery. The next stop is Magnetic Hill. Placed on Leh-Kargil-Srinagar Highway, at an altitude of 11,000 feet above the sea level, it is also known as Gravity hill. You will be visiting Sangam Point or the confluence point of Zanskar and Indus rivers.

Continue drive to Alchi, one of the oldest monasteries and have scriptures dated as old as 10th century. The village Alchi differentiates itself from other villages of Ladakh by being so lush green. Then drive to Uletokpo.

Day 07

In Uletokpo

After breakfast your day will begin with Spituk Monastery and Phyang monastery. The next stop is Magnetic Hill. Placed on Leh-Kargil-Srinagar Highway, at an altitude of 11,000 feet above the sea level, it is also known as Gravity hill. You will be visiting Sangam Point or the confluence point of Zanskar and Indus rivers.

Day 08

Uletokpo – Ridzong - Lamayuru – Leh

After breakfast early morning drive to Ridzong (a small monastery for Nuns) then drive to Lamayuru which is 50 kms from Uletokpo. The day is going to be full of action. Your first visit is to region with lunar landscapes- an area that is similar to the land condition of Moon. After this, you visit Lamayuru Monastery- one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Ladakh, it houses wall paintings, thangkas, murals, old scriptures and various statues of different forms of Buddha as well as other deities. Drive back to Leh.

Day 09

Leh -Namikila – Fotula – Mulbekh - Kargil

After breakfast drive to Kargil which is 230 kilometers from Leh. Today you have to ascend two passes. This day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First stop at 1st highest Pass on Srinagar – Leh road (Fotu la 13749 ft.). Then drive to thru Namika la Pass (3700 mts) 2ndheighest pass. Finally stop at  Mulbekh Buddhist village, visit the ancient rock cut statue of Maitreya Buddha.

Day 10

Kargil – Drass – Zojila Pass – Sonmarg - Srinagar

After an early morning breakfast drive to Srinagar (the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir) passing through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it’s a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. On arrival in Srinagar, a representative of will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 11

Local Sightseeing in Srinagar

After breakfast visit to famous Mughal Gardens and old City of Srinagar.

Nishat Bagh: also known as the garden of joy, is a terraced garden sprawled along the eastern side of the Dal Lake, with the towering Zabarwan hills as its backdrop.

Shalimar Bagh: is considered to be the finest Mughal-style hill garden and was made by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife, Noorjahan. The Shalimar Bagh was built as the summer residence of the Mughals.

Day 12

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg a hill station, a popular skiing destination. Gulmarg is situated in Pirpanjal range in western Himalayas. Gulmarg literally means the meadow of flowers. Gulmarg is situated at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level and has a gently sloping topography. Gulmarg attracts various tourists due to its natural beauty.  Gulmarg offer world’s highest Cable Car (optional) that reach upto 14000 ft. and other activities like trekking, Horse Riding, ATV Ride, Sledge Ride. Gulmarg can be visited throughout the year.  Evening drive back to Srinagar.

Day 13

Srinagar – Airport (Departure)

After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport for onward destination with sweet Holidays memories.
